Company Profile

Caliber Media Company LLC, was founded by Jack Heller and Dallas Sonnier in January 2008. The two partners met in 2005 when they were simultaneously hired at the inception of The Schiff Company. After three years of successfully managing an elite list of writers, directors, and actors, Heller and Sonnier decided to start their own venture in order to focus on their own clients and producing projects. Caliber is a full-service Management and Production Company, representing talented actors, writers, and directors while producing original Studio and Independent projects.

Management highlights have recently included the success of a client filmmaker's movie BACHELORETTE, which debuted at Sundance and was distributed by The Weinstein Company's new label Radius.  The film broke VOD-premiere sales records and had a successful theatrical run following the VOD campaign.  Another client sold a feature pitch entitled AGENT 13 to Universal with Rupert Wyatt attached to direct and Charlize Theron attached to star, and is also selling a spec entitled MY NAME IS ADAM to Paramount with Tom Cruise attached.  One client sold a pitch based on the comic book STUFF OF LEGEND to Disney, while another sold a pitch based on the comic book THE GREAT UNKNOWN to New Line.  Caliber represents staff writers from BONES, NBC's upcoming DECEPTION, and FX's former series TERRIERS.  A theater director client was twice nominated for Tony awards for BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON and PETER AND THE STARCATCHER.  Caliber clients also wrote several previous movies including Lionsgate's ABDUCTION, Tribeca's DETACHMENT, Anchor Bay's THE DIVIDE, and Universal's THE FOURTH KIND.  On the acting front, Caliber clients have starred in films such as TERMINATOR SALVATION, FOOTLOOSE, GI JOE 2, and THE PACT, and TV shows like FALLING SKIES, BEN AND KATE, and BEING HUMAN.

In the spring of 2008, Caliber signed a first look deal with Original Media, a division of Endemol. The relationship saw Caliber and Original partner on the NBC pilot THE MOGULETTES, as well as creating unscripted pilots for OXYGEN and TruTV.  In 2011, Caliber began producing a slate of films with their partners at New Artists Alliance, Gabriel Cowan and John Suits.

Caliber's Production arm is currently in post on a number of films including horror/comedy MILO producing alongside Jay and Mark Duplass. The film stars Ken Marino, Gillian Jacobs, Peter Stormare and Stephen Root. PREDATOR films, THE THING remake and X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE.

Caliber also produced Jack Heller's first film ENTER NOWHERE, released by Lionsgate and Grindstone in Spring 2012, a thriller that follows four strangers (played by Sara Paxton, Scott Eastwood, Katherine Waterston and Shaun Sipos) with a mysterious connection trapped at a desolate cabin in the middle of a forest.
